Inspiration: This EP is attempt at actualizing a type of Internet surrealism - the accentuating and juxtaposition of ordinary things found online to open a door to the subconscious. I like to think these pieces show the "fun" side of Museumgoer, but subsequent listens find it run-through with melancholy and even a little terror.

"Self Portrait" employs an online text-to-speech app reading a spam email. It sounds momentarily Shakespearean at the onset.
"Get Arrested" matches online synth emulators and tea shop ambiance from the BBC Sound Effects Archive. It's a tribute to industrial music pioneers Throbbing Gristle, who frequently found themselves getting arrested for their art.
"The Canned Human Effect" employs real sounds from my daily life as well as playing the "Human Effect" page on the BBC Sound Effects Archive like an orchestra.
"Tabababa Eye Eye Oh!" uses voice-to-text apps and filters to create a short ASMR sound poem, like a soothing yet unsettling alien transmission.
